Team weekend

This weekend we had a team camp. Saturday was spent in Bristol where we collected our new 2009 team bike, well everyone apart from me. It seems that my frame is so big that there is not enough aluminium in the world to build it! Once everyone had collected and set up their bikes we headed to ashton court for a photo shoot. Everyone got off to a bit of a slow start as the carpark was barley above freezing. We soon warmed up once we reached the woods and spent most of the morning and part of the afternoon trying not to crack the camera lens.
After the photoshoot we headed back to Robs place where we had an informal team meeting about the team goals for the coming season followed by a lovely dinner cooked by zoe.
On sunday we went to afan for a casual ride. We rode whites height before deciding that the warmth of the cafe was a better idea at this time of year! All the team were pleased with their new ironhorse bikes. The phrase 'the best bike i have ever ridden' was used on more than one occasion. I cant wait to get mine now!
Thankfully my cold has cleared now. Spending a week unable to ride has been driving me crazy and the next best thing to riding has been eating so i'm starting to feel fat! Bring on the turbo trainer next week...
