what a relief!

Well the last month has been pretty stressful that’s for sure. The last two weeks have been almost unbearable. My university work has been reaching its peak and my cycling has certainly been affected by it. Finally this today I lifted a massive weight off my shoulders by completing the majority of my work. I haven’t touched the bike at all this week after last weekend nightmare; I just haven’t had the time or the energy. Instead I’ve been chained to my desk producing 8 A2 sized presentation boards for my university viva’s (1h presentation equivalent to exams) and also producing prototype models. I’m quite glad that I’m sponsored by extreme energy drinks, those things have kept me going the last week!!

Today I finally managed to get out on my bike for an hour and a half. It was good to let off some stress hammering up the hills. My legs defiantly feel strong after a rest, whether that transfers into race winning speed is another matter though! I now have 3 weeks to get some quality training in before Bristol bike fest. I’m now counting down to 10am Thursday the 4th of June, the end of my last viva and the end of university forever!

Tomorrow I’m going to get an adrenaline fix by riding down some hills fast…
